Join Vertical Scope Group (VSG) as we are now inviting expressions of interest for Expert, Trusted and Reputable Security Professionals at all levels of knowledge and experience from Defence Support Services (DSS) Levels 1-5 (Associate, Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, Expert, Pre-eminent Advisor) to join our submission for a multi-year, Specialist Security Services panel.

 

We want high performing, highly experienced professionals that have backgrounds in Engineering, SCEC (Security Construction and Equipment Committee), Acoustic, Building and Specialist Security, that can work across the board to implement the next phase of Australia’s innovative solutions for Defence and National Security.

 

Vertical Scope Group is securing an experienced Security Services Specialist to join our award-winning Professional Services Division to be included in our submission. If successful, and if you are listed as a named consultant in our submission, VSG will always offer you first choice and opportunity of any work that is released to us.

 

As a Security Services Specialist, you will provide technical security consultation, including...

• analysing security requirements for future capability,
• aligning service delivery with business process management objectives,
• designing solutions to meet specific requirements, and
• advising on management solutions, including commercial off the shelf (COTS) products.
• technical security research and development
• security risk assessments
• develop, audit, revise and assess security arrangements
• acoustic testing
• tempest testing

 

Ideally, you will possess...

• suitable qualifications in information technology, information systems, IT security management, cyber security, TEMPEST qualification or other relevant qualifications.
• Baseline (min.) – TS PV security clearance desirable
• Australian Citizenship is essential

 

You will also have a sound understanding with all relevant and applicable requirements of the Protective Security Policy Framework, including:

• (a) Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Policies 1 – 16,
• (b) Australian Security and Intelligence Organisation’s (ASIO) Technical Note 1/15 Physical
• Security of Zones,
• (c) Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC) Security Equipment Evaluated
• products List (SEEPL), and
• (d) The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) overseas security standards and
• requirements.
