• Executive Assistant (APS5 Level)
• Fixed term contract until November 2024
Vertical Scope Group (VSG) are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Assistant to work with our Federal Government customers at the APS5 level.
As an Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to the Executive Manager. Your exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our customer's National division.
About You:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated the following:
• Experience providing support to Senior Executives
• Strong (written and oral) communication skills, including a capacity in liaising, managing and working professionally with a diverse range of people.
• Attention to detail with the ability to adapt to competing priorities and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to exercise strong discretion in a position of trust.
About the Role:
The Executive Assistant is responsible for the following (but is not limited to):
• Supporting and assisting the Executive Manager, NOS with diary management commitments, travel management activities associated with local, interstate and international conferences and meeting commitments.
• Managing and ensuring positive and effective governance over all correspondence and records relating to the office of Executive Manager, NOS.
• Assisting with the completion of financial management activities including reconciling financial statements, credit cards, coordinate and facilitate budget planning activities and assisting others as required.
• Coordinate the NOS Divisional administrative assistant network ensuring efficient business practices and high-quality products and services are delivered across NOS Division.
• Providing adhoc administrative support and assistance for the positive and effective functioning of the Division.
• Identify business improvement opportunities within the office of the Executive Manager NOS and across NOS Division.
